En Rouger was originally a working farm and is nearly 200 years old. The barns have been renovated to a high standard and are equipped with modern furniture. There are four gites in total, one with 3 bedrooms, the others with 2 bedrooms.

All the gites have dishwashers, washing machines, microwaves, toasters, radio/CD players and DVD players (for which a small library of DVDs is available, or please bring your own). Free to View satellite television is provided in each gite, giving access to all BBC television and radio channels. Linen and towels are provided (but not beach/pool towels).

For our younger visitors, we can provide various items of equipment, including cots (but please bring your baby's cot bedding), highchairs, a bedguard, baby bath, stairgates (on request) etc. We also have a good supply of toys and some childrens' DVDs. The gites also each have lots of books for holiday reading for adults and older children.

Each gite has its own outside area with table, chairs and large parasol. There is a barbecue patio with the choice of gas or charcoal barbecues. Table tennis is also available.

Communal Barbecue Area

The gites are set together overlooking the pool and gardens which provide a tranquil setting in which you can relax. The attractive swimming pool (12 x 7 metres) has a beach-type entrance which is perfect for smaller children and is fenced in accordance with French safety regulations. The pool is surrounded by trees which provide dappled shade for the sun loungers when you want to avoid direct sunlight. The total area of the site is around 1.5 acres and we are surrounded by sunflower and wheat fields.

Swimming Pool with Security Fence

In addition to the swimming pool, the gardens contain a selection of outdoor toys for toddlers. There are also swings and a sandpit. For older children (and adults!) there is a table tennis table. For those with still more energy to burn, our cocker spaniel Chester loves football and frisbee on the lawn!
